1st Challenge in the 90 Day Budget Buster!!!

Ok so the challenges have started! The first challenge.....
Make a menu.....ok so this is the easy part. Well sorta, since I do stockpile I am able to go into my pantry/fridge/freezer and pull things together with ease. The hard part....pulling things together that my husband Troy will eat!!! He is a very picky man, simple, but picky!!! So after I get my grocery lists together and grab my coupons, I make a menu. Now Im seriously going to do this every week, I have been challenged!
Step 2 of this challenge.....
Stick to the menu!!
HA! ummmm really?? Ok ok, so we cheat sometimes, its just the two of us, so we eat out! I will keep this under control! No more eating out unless it just cannot be helped! And I will stick to my menu starting on Sunday :)
Will post here next week so you can see how I'm doing!
Anyone else wanna take this challenge with me??? Come on...I know there are more of you that would like to kick your budgets butt!!!! Join with me, lets have some fun with this!!!

Sun:

Lunch: left overs from Sat
Dinner: english chuck roast, potatoes and carrots w/sugar free jello for dessert

Mon:
Breakfast: yogurt and coffee
Lunch: left overs from Sun
dinner: rosemary roasted chicken and potatoes w/brownies for dessert

Tues:
Breakfast: cereal and coffee
Lunch: left overs from Mon
Dinner: Chili

Wed:
Breakfast: yogurt and coffee
Lunch: frozen pizza
Dinner: chili from Tues

Thurs:
Breakfast: eggs and sausage
lunch: soup and sandwiches
dinner: red beans and rice w/cornbread and choc chip cookies for dessert

Fri: (grocery day!)
Breakfast: yogurt/cereal and coffee
lunch: left overs
dinner: left overs from week or chili dogs and chips

So we will see how this goes :) I may change a few things here and there, like move the days dinners around and things like that but I think I can stick to this.

I make my menu off of what I purchase instead of the other way around. My stockpile is looking good again, so I have no doubt that this menu and others that follow, can be followed easily :D

So tonite we had brats, corn on the cob, potato bags and sesame asparagus...all on the grill!! mmmm mmmmm I absolutely adore asparagus, I wish it would go on a major sale so I could buy a huge amount and freeze it! lol
I made choc chip cookies for dessert.
So far...menu is working :D

Stopping by from Budget Boot Camp. I know how you feel my husband is picky too. He's a meat and potato man and getting him to try other things like vegetables is hard. Making the menu you is the easy part. Have you tried Plan to eat? They have a great program to make your menu and it puts your grocery list together for you. I love it. Hope you do well with the challenge. I
